Four Locations Left to Take the Plunge
The 2026 Penguin Plunge season is heating up - even if the water isn’t! With fundraising totals climbing and the final plunges ahead, there’s still time to be part of the excitement.
Four locations. Three weekends. One unforgettable experience. Now is the time to help us make the final Penguin Plunge push. Pick a plunge, rally a team, and raise awareness and financial support to help fuel year-round sports, health, and inclusion for nearly 14,000 athletes.
Behind every Winter Games is a dedicated team making it all possible - including the volunteers who literally create the snow. Meet longtime Eversource lead snowmaker, Andy Ouellette, whose decades of dedication have helped athletes compete and shine. Read his story, courtesy of the Hartford Business Journal.
Eversource's support as Year-Round Partner Sponsor does not end after Winter Games is over. This year, they brought our new Mobile Penguin Plunge Unit to their Berlin headquarters for a sun and fun-filled day of plunging for our athletes.
Collectively, 70+ Penguin Plungers raised over $31,500 for our athletes. Thank you, Eversource!
Jersey Mike's Day of Giving is ONE WEEK AWAY
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, March 25 when every Jersey Mike’s location nationwide will donate 100% of sales to Special Olympics.
In 2022, over $10 Million was raised on Day of Giving for Special Olympics. Last year's Day of Giving raised over $30 Million. Help us set a new record in 2026!
Order in-store, online, or on the app. Catering orders are also eligible and pre-orders are encouraged.
48 stores across Connecticut are also accepting donations every day of March, so visit often all month!
It’s a simple (and delicious) way to make a BIG impact. Order lunch and/or dinner for yourself or make it a group order - every sub purchased helps change lives.
In case you missed it, one of our newest Global Messengers, DJ Green, joined SOCT staff member Jeff Veneziano on Hello Connecticut with Renee DiNino.
They talked all things SOCT including Penguin Plunge, Traditional Basketball Tournament, and the Jersey Mike's Month and Day of Giving - to send our Team CT to USA Games, including DJ who will compete in track & field! Click here to watch the segment.
