Join us for the 2026 Unified Sports®Fall Festival, presented by the Mohegan Tribe! Athletes and Unified Sports® partners will come together for a weekend celebrating competition, teamwork, and inclusion.

Healthy Athletes® | Saturday, September 19, 10:00AM - 2:00PM Athletes can take advantage of free health and wellness opportunities, including Healthy Habits education at Bocce focused on sun safety, physical activity, nutrition and hydration, and Strong Mindsat Softball.

Enjoy a full day of golf while supporting Special Olympics Connecticut athletes and the year-round programs that help them train, compete and achieve. Registration is $200 per golfer or $750 per foursome and includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, starting at just $50.

Special Olympics Connecticut’s annual Over the Edge fundraiser returns to Mohegan Sun on August 28, when participants will rappel more than 30 stories down the Sky Tower in support of SOCT athletes. Among them is Brian Reale, who has rallied a team from Eversource and will face his own fear of heights for a second time.
This summer, five talented interns brought their skills, energy and fresh perspectives to Special Olympics Connecticut, supporting everything from communications and photography to events and Healthy Athletes®.
We’re grateful to Gabby, Conlan, David, Emma, and Mia for choosing to spend their summer with SOCT and for the meaningful contributions they made to our athletes, programs, and mission.

Over 40 athletes participated in the 2026 Golf Skills Jamboree earlier this month in preparation for the upcoming Unified Sports® Fall Festival.
Participants rotated through stations to hone their putting, chipping, and driving skills. Thank you to Special Olympics Trumbull for organizing and running the event and to Lyman Orchards for hosting.
